DETALLES: Samjoan Robert Marquez is wanted for several shooting incidents that occurred in the City of Oxnard during the months of March, Abril, y puede. Marquez has several felony warrants for his arrest for these shootings, and is suspected to be armed and dangerous. **ACTUALIZAR**
En 11/13/13 en aproximadamente 1300 horas, Marquez was apprehended in the City of Ventura for his outstanding warrants for the above listed shootings. Marquez was arrested without incident and booked into the Ventura County Jail.

DETALLES: En 11/21/13 en 0700 horas, Investigators from the Oxnard police department’s Violent Crimes Unit served a search warrant and arrested a 17 year old male juvenile on 114 cargos de vandalismo del graffiti. Investigators obtained information the previous week that linked the juvenile to his tagged moniker. The graffiti vandalism committed by the juvenile vandal cost the City of Oxnard an estimated $16,000.00 para limpiar.

En noviembre 22, 2013 en aproximadamente 1800 horas, members of the Oxnard Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit were working enhanced gang enforcement in the La Colonia Neighborhood due to recent incidents.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Oxnard Blvd and a documented Colonia gang member was contacted in the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle a loaded semi-auto handgun was recovered.

Barrera and Maria Hernandez were arrested for various weapon violations.

Roberto Silva was arrested for violation of the Colonia gang injunction.

En 2240 horas, agentes del Departamento de Policía de Oxnard respondieron a la 300 Block of East Juniper Street regarding a stabbing victim. En 0037 horas, an Oxnard police officer was flagged down by two male subjects, 19-year old and 20-year old Oxnard residents, en el 2300 Bloque de la avenida El Dorado. The two told the officer they had been assaulted and robbed. Promover, they pointed out the car that the suspects were in.

The officer immediately affected a stop on the vehicle. un tema, a male wearing a bandana and black hooded sweatshirt, fled on foot. The officer stayed with the suspect vehicle and detained three subjects. Other officers arrived and assisted in the arrest of Salvador Avalos, Efrain Parra, and Jose Villa Lobos for robbery and other charges.

There had been two other robberies earlier in the evening. One occurred at 2219 hora en la 400 Bloque de East Pleasant Valley Road. A 17-year old Oxnard resident was robbed of his wallet and cell phone. Four suspects were described including one wearing a bandana.

Another robbery occurred at 0013 hora en la 100 Block of Dolores Court. A 19-year old Oxnard resident was beaten and robbed. This victim was treated at SJRMC with moderate wounds to his head and face. Otra vez, multiple suspects were described and fled.

Officers and investigators are continuing their investigations and believe all three robberies are related.

En 12/6/13, en aproximadamente 1128 horas, an officer from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a consensual contact on a subject in the area of Wankel Way and Lombard Street. Further investigation revealed that the subject, Marco Vences, was in possession of an unloaded handgun in his backpack and narcotics on his person. Vences was arrested without incident and charged with possession of an unloaded handgun, unregistered firearm, and a controlled substance. En diciembre 7, 2013, en alrededor 11:52 A.m., los oficiales respondieron a la 1800 block of Napoleon Avenue after receiving a call of gunshots fired from a vehicle. En 0019 horas en 1/1/14, Oficiales de la Policía de Oxnard respondieron a una llamada de una víctima de apuñalamiento en el 1000 Block of West 9^ª Calle. Officers arrived and found the victim, Ambriz, who suffered a minor stab wound to his neck. He was transported to VCMC with the non-life-threatening injury.

Officers learned that the suspect may have been an acquaintance of Ambriz’. sin embargo, no arrest in relation to the stabbing has been made. One other individual was arrested for a parole violation.

En 2-9-14, en aproximadamente 1952 horas, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the report of a single vehicle traffic collision in the area of Bryce Canyon and “A” Street. Additional information was received indicating a shooting may have occurred as well. Una vez en escena, officers learned that the victim vehicle was travelling south on “A” Street in the area of Bryce Canyon when a Hispanic male in a hooded sweatshirt fired shots at the vehicle. The vehicle collided with a tree, and all occupants fled from the vehicle. Two occupants were located in the area and were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries as a result of the traffic collision. A third occupant believed to be in the vehicle at the time of the collision was not located.

Officers were unable to learn anything further about the suspect. Evidence of a shooting was located.

En 2-23-14, en aproximadamente 1928 horas, officers responded to an attempted robbery at the Guadalajara Cafe located in the 100 Block of North Hayes Avenue. The 26-year old victim told officers that two subjects entered the bar and demanded the victim’s wallet at gunpoint. The victim fought back and several other patrons assisted the victim. The two suspects fled the bar and were last seen running southbound on Hayes Avenue towards First Street. The victim sustained only minor injuries as a result of this incident.

Moments later, officers responded to the area of Cooper Road and Bonita Avenue reference two assault victims. Two juvenile subjects were located and contacted at that location. Officers and EMS treated the juveniles for their injuries and transported them to a local hospital for treatment. The two injured juveniles are suspects in this attempted robbery.
