On July 6, at approximately 12:27 a.m., Officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a traffic stop of a gold Honda in the 800 block South A St for a vehicle code violation. Officers contacted Oxnard resident Francisco Valero (27 years old) in the vehicle. During the officer’s contact with Valero, they conducted a search of the vehicle and located a loaded 9mm handgun inside the vehicle. Officer also located narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia inside of the vehicle. Valero was arrested for numerous weapons and narcotics violations.
