On October 23, 2016, at about 11:18 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to a call of shots fired inside a residence in the 1600 blk. W. Birch St. Officers contacted the occupants and learned a male suspect had fled residence. There were no injuries and the firearm was recovered. It was later determined that residents were involved in a domestic dispute.
The investigation is ongoing.
