(OXNARD, Calif) – On March 13, 2017 at approximately 9:50 p.m., Oxnard police officers responded to several 911 calls of a shooting victim in the 100 block of Dolores Court. When the police officers arrived on scene they located a shooting victim. The victim, a Hispanic male in his 40’s, was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS personnel.
Detectives with the Oxnard Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. The investigation is continuing.
This is Oxnard’s third homicide of the year.
The City of Oxnard offers a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect(s) in homicide cases.
