SUBJECT: Narcotics Sales Arrest
SUSPECTS: Troy Timm, 53 year-old Oxnard Resident

On August 17, 2022, the Oxnard Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), the South District Neighborhood Policing Team (NPT), and East District NPT, were conducting surveillance in the 1600 block of South Oxnard Blvd in reference to narcotics activity. During the surveillance, detectives observed a known narcotics dealer, Troy Timm, conducting hand to hand drug transactions from a vehicle.
The Oxnard Special Enforcement Unit and Oxnard K9 Rocky, were requested to assist with a traffic enforcement stop. A traffic enforcement stop was conducted and Troy Timm was contacted. A search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of methamphetamine, drug packaging, and further evidence of narcotics sales.
Troy Timm was placed under arrest for felony narcotics sales and felony transportation of narcotics and transported to the Ventura County Jail. He is currently out on bail for a previous narcotics sales case.
