DETAILS:
On February 17, 2019 at 1814 hours, Oxnard police officers responded to a shooting victim in the area of the 3100 block of Merced Place, Oxnard. It was determined that the lone victim was exiting his vehicle when unknown suspects began firing at him. The victim was struck one time in the arm and was later transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition and his injuries are not life threatening. Detectives from the Oxnard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and the investigation is on-going. No further information is available at this time.
