SUBJECT: Firearm Arrest
LOCATION: Sweetland Street / Reeder Avenue, Oxnard, CA
SUSPECT: Jeanette Siquedo, 19-year-old Oxnard resident

On the above date and time, officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a traffic stop for vehicle code violations at Sweetland Street and Reeder Avenue in Oxnard. Siquedo was the driver and only occupant of the vehicle. As a result of a search of the vehicle, officers located a “zip” gun (an improvised firearm) that was able to fire a 12 gauge shotgun round. Additionally, officers located methamphetamine, xanax, and a 12 gauge shotgun round in Siquedo’s purse.
Siquedo was arrested for possession of a zip gun (33600PC), and drug possession.
