DETALLES:
En septiembre 3, en 5:50 p.m., agentes de la Unidad Especial de Aplicación (unidad de pandillas) conducted a traffic enforcement stop to a vehicle for an observed vehicle code violation. Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and obtained their information. It was found that the passenger, Jesus Negrete, was on searchable probation for firearms violations and gang terms.
Negrete was detained at the scene while officers responded to his residence for the purposes of conducting a probation search. Durante la búsqueda de libertad condicional, officers located a 9mm handgun that was unregistered along with ammunition. Further evidence found during the investigation linked Negrete to the firearm and ammunition.
Negrete was arrested for multiple felonies that include 29800(un)(1) P.C- Felon in possession of a firearm, 29815(un) P.C- Subject on probation and prohibited from possessing a firearm and 30305(un)(1) P.C- Possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.
