En la fecha/hora anterior, Oxnard Police officers responded to a hot prowl burglary in the 1200 block of Nautical Way. El sospechoso, identified as Diego Peralta, entered the residence by removing a window screen and climbing through an unlocked window. Once inside, Peralta took the car keys from the victim’s purse and entered the vehicle parked in the garage. The victim confronted Peralta, prompting him to flee the residence. Responding officers located and detained Peralta nearby. He was positively identified during the investigation. Peralta was also found to have stolen property tied to crimes committed in the City of Ventura. The Ventura Police Department responded and also assisted with the investigation.
