DETAILS:
On February 27, 2019 at approximately 1044 hours, Oxnard Police Department officers were dispatched to a call of suspicious circumstances in the 1700 block of Gisler Avenue. Upon arrival, they contacted two victims who told officers they had been assaulted by two male suspects and stabbed by a female suspect. In addition, some of the victim’s property had been stolen.
Officers checked the surrounding area and located three people who matched the description provided by the victims. Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit responded to assist with the investigation. The suspects were positively identified and were arrested. Sandy Mukul, a 29 year old Oxnard resident, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Jesse Mukul, a 30 year old Oxnard resident, was arrested for battery. Benny Aguayo, a 28 year old Oxnard resident, was arrested for battery and petty theft. All three suspects were booked into the Ventura County Jail.
