(OXNARD, CALIF) On May 8th 2013, at about 7:30 a.m., members of the Oxnard Police Department’s Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Kiawah River Drive in the City of Oxnard.  The search warrant was part of a month long investigation regarding marijuana sales.

During the search of the residence, detectives located over 15 pounds of marijuana and other evidence indicating that sales of marijuana were being conducted from this residence.  They also learned that the home where the sales were being conducted was within 1000 feet of a nearby elementary school.

Two of the residents, Robert Mckee and Cameron Fletcher, were arrested and booked into Ventura County Jail for sales of marijuana as well as conducting this type of illegal activity within 1000 feet of an elementary school.

This case would not have been possible if not for the several anonymous tips we received during the investigation. The Oxnard Police Department encourages anyone with information on this case to call Detective Langford at (805) 385-7638. We also encourage anyone with narcotic related information to call our Narcotic Hotline at (805) 982-7084 and leave an anonymous tip.
