DETAILS:
On December 1st, 2018, at approximately 2:00 a.m., an officer from the Oxnard Police Department observed a suspicious subject loitering near a crowded food truck in the 3700 block of Saviers Rd. When the officer attempted to contact the subject he discarded a loaded 12 gauge shotgun under a parked vehicle.
The subject was immediately taken into custody and identified as Brian Gonzalez, a 21 year old Oxnard resident.
The shotgun was found to be modified with a shortened barrel and removed serial number.
Gonzalez was arrested for numerous firearms violations.
