DETAILS:
On 7/8/18, at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to a call of a shooting victim in the 500 block of N. Roosevelt Ave. Upon arrival, they located a 13-year-old male victim who sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his lower leg. The victim was transported by EMS to the Ventura County Medical Center for treatment. Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit responded to assist with the investigation.
