DETAILS: On August 6, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Officers from the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to an assault victim at El Tenampa Catina, 1300 block of South Oxnard Blvd. Officers discovered that one of the victims had been assaulted during a physical altercation had been knocked unconscious and was suffering from numerous facial injuries. That victim was transported to Ventura County Medical Center and is currently in critical but stable condition from the assault. Two additional victims were treated at the crime scene for minor injuries and released. Investigators from the Oxnard Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) responded to investigate the circumstances surrounding this violent assault.
