DETAILS:
On May 23, 2017 at 2:00 am an Oxnard Police Department officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Statham Blvd. and Albany Dr. The driver, Saul Ramirez, was found to have two outstanding warrants and was taken into custody. While searching Ramirez during the arrest, the officer found an unloaded handgun hidden in his pocket. Additionally, the officer located over 14 grams of methamphetamine inside Ramirez’s vehicle. Ramirez was booked for misdemeanor possession of a firearm and drugs.
