DETAILS: (OXNARD, Calif) – On January 9, 2015 at 4:20 a.m. hours, officers responded to the 1300 Block of Bluebell Street, regarding a prowler. Officers learned a male suspect had entered a home through an unlocked back door. The suspect entered the bedroom belonging to a 12 year old boy. The boy was asleep in his bed when the suspect approached him and sexually assaulted him. The child alerted his parents of the intruder inside the home. The parents confronted the suspect outside of the bedroom and ordered him to leave the residence.
Upon further examination of the residence it was discovered that all the screens to the windows on the back of the residence had been cut and entry was attempted. The scene was processed for further evidence.
