DETAILS
At about 4 p.m., officers received a call of a hit and run in the 200 block of North Grant. When officers responded, they were informed that a vehicle had also been stolen. The stolen vehicle information was provided to patrol officers. Officers in the area of Cooper and Oxnard Boulevard located the stolen vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop. The driver refused to yield to the officer. A pursuit was initiated in the Colonia area. The stolen, suspect vehicle subsequently hit two parked vehicles in the 100 block of Hayes Avenue and then came to a stop. The suspect vehicle was occupied by two female juveniles; one of them was the driver. There were no injuries, only a complaint of pain.
The two female juvenile suspects will eventually be booked into juvenile hall.
