DETAILS:
On 7-11-10 at approximately 0305 hours officers were dispatched reference a subject with a knife in the 200 block of East Elm Street in Oxnard. When officers arrived they observed two subjects in a nearby school, one of which fled on foot. The second subject was found to be the victim of a robbery.
The victim was robbed of property at knifepoint then ordered into a nearby school by the suspect. The suspect was not apprehended at that time but was later identified by the officer and the victim as Oscar Borjon.
Officers were dispatched back to the 200 block of East Elm at approximately 1830 hours on 7-11-10. Officers contacted Borjon and he was taken into custody. Borjon was found to have ties to a local Oxnard Street Gang. Borjon was booked into Ventura County Jail and his bail is set at $50,000.
