DETAILS:
On 5-7-10 around 3:34 PM Officers responded to a call of a fight in the intersection of Rose Ave and Channel Islands Blvd. When officers arrived they located a victim of an assault. The victim was hit by a pipe and stabbed. The victim was transported to St John’s Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
A witness told officers that juveniles involved in the fight ran to a nearby store. Officers detained four subjects at the store and later transported them to the hospital. One 15 year-old, Oxnard resident was identified and arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Due to the ages of both parties their names are being withheld. The suspect is being transported to Juvenile Hall where he will be booked for the charges.
