DETAILS:
On 2-5-10, officers responded to the area of Oxnard Boulevard and First Street to contact a victim of a robbery. Upon officers’ arrival, they located the victim and noticed he had suffered a major head injury. The victim was transported to Saint John’s Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.The victim told officers he was walking near Durley Park in the early morning hours when he was approached by two Hispanic males. The two suspects demanded money from the victim and then began to batter him numerous times. The suspects ended up taking an unknown amount of currency from the victim along with his jacket. The victim walked around the City of Oxnard for sometime until he arrived in the area of First Street and Oxnard Boulevard and received assistance.
