The Oxnard City Council has approved the newly formatted Oxnard Municipal Code Book and it will be the official Municipal Code as of August 26, 2005. In addition, it is now available on-line and reflects current through Ordinance No. 2660, passed on June 22, 2004. » Oxnard Police Department CCTV Standards Guidelines Recommendations
The purpose of these conditions and guidelines is to increase the likelihood that images recovered from CCTV systems are sufficient to enable the identification of people and objects of interest by law enforcement.
» Ride Along Form
This is the form that must be completed by persons who wish to ride along with an Oxnard police officer on patrol. The ability to accompany a police officer on patrol is not open to the public. Ride-along observers should be related to a legitimate law-enforcement purpose, such as being a potential police officer candidate, lateral transfer, administration of justice student, or selected persons interested or active in community affairs.
