Oxnard Municipal Code Book
The Oxnard City Council has approved the newly formatted Oxnard Municipal Code Book and it will be the official Municipal Code as of August 26, 2005. In addition, it is now available on-line and reflects current through Ordinance No. 2660, passed on June 22, 2004. The next supplement will be updated within a few weeks, and will then reflect current ordinances through July 1, 2005.
To access the Municipal Code, simply click on the link provided above. Due to the new formatting, you will find a cross-reference of the former Code numbers and the new numbers in the index.

Ride Along Form
This is the form that must be completed by persons who wish to ride along with an Oxnard police officer on patrol. The ability to accompany a police officer on patrol is not open to the public. Ride-along observers should be related to a legitimate law-enforcement purpose, such as being a potential police officer candidate, lateral transfer, administration of justice student, or selected persons interested or active in community affairs. |

Sit Along Form
This is the form that must be completed by persons who wish to sit-along with an Oxnard Police-Fire Dispatcher. The ability to enter the Communications Center is not open to the public. Communications sit-along observers should be related to a legitimate law-enforcement purpose, such as being a potential dispatcher candidate, lateral transfer, administration of justice student, or selected persons interested or active in community affairs |
