Orientation Class

The Oxnard Police Department recently holds a one day orientation class for Public Safety Trainee applicants. The class is very popular and has received good reviews from the students. The class offerings will be associated with testing dates for the position.

The curriculum includes: Written Examination, Oral Interview, Polygraph Exam, Background investigation, Psychological Assessment and Physical Ability.

"It is not a secret! There is a right way and a wrong way to go about getting hired in law enforcement. Learn how to correctly fill out your application, how to take timed tests, how to complete a background packet, psychological and polygraph testing and physical conditioning requirements--all of which help you understand what you need to do so that you can improve your chance of successfully getting through the process. This class helped me realize my dream of working in law enforcement."
